OFFICIAL DSA NEWS - EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST JULY 2003
DSA books up new theory test questions
The Driving Standards Agency is updating the multiple choice questions in the driving theory test question bank, and has published revised editions of the books which contain the extra questions.

The new books, The Official Theory Test for Car Drivers and The Official Theory Test for Motorcyclists, are now available from all good book shops and updates reflect changes to the car and motorcyclists theory tests to
be introduced on 1 July 2003.
New questions for car drivers and motorcyclists have been added to enhance the theory test syllabus as part of DSA's contribution to the Government's Road Safety Strategy. A total of 44 new questions have been added to the question bank for the car theory test and 94 questions to the motorcycle theory test. There has however, been some questions removed as part of the annual refreshment of the question banks, which also complies with a European Directive. The new questions have been incorporated into the current topic areas, which have not changed.
Jill Lewis, head of DSA's Theory Test Unit, said: "The revised books are excellent revision tools for car and motorcycle candidates preparing for the tests."
